Course Summary

Babalawo/ Iyanifa Training  Intensive workshop is the beginning of a series of lessons designed to support the training of Awo Ifa , Babalawos and Iyanifas. This course will cover a number of topics related to Ifa worship services. It will cover Egungun work, Ori Work, demonstrations of practices and a general summary of the courses to follow more in depth. It contains a whopping 23 videos covering a live class that was recorded over 3 days.The original title for the workshop is Elements of Worship.   There is literally a fountain of information in this course, the likes of which is generally only covered when working with an Awo with many many years of experience. She recalls life experiences of over 40 years with the content she is sharing. The delivery is in a conversational tone so you get to participate as a student in the same way it was delivered. Tidbits of spiritual works and little things an awo can do to enhance their ase and work along with a number of Ifa stories and Odus.

Instructor for the course:

Fayomi Falade Aworeni is an Iyanifa and Orisa priest with over 50 Years in the Ifa Orisha tradition. She was given the title Iya Abiye Awo Agbaye from the Araba Agbaye of Ile Ife, the Ooni of Ile Ife and the Awo Olodumeridogun of Ile Ife. She is also the Iya Abiye of Saala temple in Abeokuta under the leadership of HRH Olalemikan Ifayemi Oba Ogboni of Saala Temple Abeokuta. Iya Abaye Awo Agbaye literally means mother who has the responsibility of children and teaching them to survive and Chief World priest in the hierarchy of priest of Ifa. She is Yeye Agbomola of the Kpojito court. In addition, she holds a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University and is the founder and Chief Priest at the Ile Iwonsan Orunmila Mimo Temple in Pheonix, Arizona.
