Oogun- Spiritual Medicines for Ifa Orisa Priests

With Babalorisa Soloman Omojie

Course Summary

Oogun, a Yoruba term, refers to traditional medicine, which is a unique category of African ancestral remedies, mystical preparations , and spiritual technologies that utilize herbal enhancements to empower and improve one's quality of life while solving problems. These ritualistic medicines and supernatural applications incorporate elements from nature, such as herbs, roots, flowers, and more, which can be administered in various forms, such as body applications, soaps, honeys, extracts, powders, and others. For centuries, Olorisas in Africa have been using these potent Ooguns, some of which have never been introduced to the West ever.
